He has served as the Newsletter Editing Committee Coordinator for the Optics and Photonics Club (OPC), where he demonstrated exceptional skills in publishing newsletters and winning various writing competitions. Mirza’s dedication to research and his passion for acquiring knowledge are key drivers in his academic and professional journey. Hozaifa Hossain

Hozaifa is an undergrad student in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Dhaka. With major achievements and certifications including the “Machine Learning Specialization” by Stanford and “Advanced Data Analysis” by Google, he excels in both academic and practical realms. Hozaifa is the Vice Chair of IEEE SIGHT and led a project to Netrokona, Bangladesh, where he helped set up and distribute Orange Pi computers to a remote school. He also served as the President of the Optics and Photonics Club (OPC). Actively pursuing research work on machine learning, Hozaifa’s leadership and technical skills are driving forces in his contributions to OPTICA.

With extensive experience in leadership roles, she has served as the Secretary of the Optics and Photonics Club, DU, and currently holds the positions of Secretary at OPTICA SC DU and Media Coordinator at IEEE EDS SB DU. Zayma is has actively contributed to numerous initiatives within OPTICA and IEEE. Her expertise spans electronics and photonics, and she is particularly interested in research that integrates these fields.
